The VLT® Automation Drive iC7 is Danfoss's next-generation variable frequency drive — engineered to replace more panel space and commissioning time with performance you can rely on for decades. Its compact footprint and streamlined setup mean less time and cost getting it installed, without giving up any of the control sophistication your application needs.

Simple to commission, capable enough for complex plant

Even in demanding automation applications, the iC7 sets up fast.
Guided programming walks you through configuring specific functions, and the MyDrive® Assistant PC software tool handles parameterisation without a steep learning curve. Once running, coated PCBs protect the drive's electronics from dust, moisture and corrosive air — keeping it reliable in the harsh industrial and rural environments common across New Zealand sites, from processing plants to pump stations.

Works with the motor you already have

The iC7 connects to induction motors (IM), permanent magnet motors (PM), or high-efficiency synchronous reluctance motors (SynRM) and adapts automatically — so you're not locked into a specific motor technology to get the best performance out of the drive.
